A TRIAL has been fixed for two men accused of assault.

James Phillips, aged 61, of Hayes Street, Bradeley, denies using threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behaviour on February 16 this year and common assault on Andrew Tooth.

Stevie Phillips, aged 25, also of Hayes Street, denies common assault on Zoe Loverick on the same date.

Both were conditionally bailed until the trial date of June 8 by North Staffordshire magistrates.
