Two to face assault case
TWO men have been charged in connection with an assault.
An 18-year-old and a 22-year-old, both from the Crewe area, will appear at South Cheshire Magistrates' Court on July 28.
A 21-year-old man suffered a serious injury to his neck following an incident last Tuesday and is now recovering at Leighton Hospital. His condition is said to be stable.
Police are renewing an appeal for information in connection with the incident, which happened in a field between Frank Webb Avenue, Rolls Avenue and Smith Grove in Crewe at around 10.15pm.
They are asking anyone with information to come forward, in particular anyone in the area or businesses with CCTV.
