Fc Reedswood are a ladies football club which plys its trade in the West Midlands Womens Premier League, based on the boarder of South Staffordshire playing its home matches at Long Lane Park, Essington. The ground itself is easy to find and is only 3 mins from Junction 11 on the M6. We are currently awaiting our FA Charter Standard Status and next year hope to introduce a girls junior section to the club. We would like to invite you to come and sample the atmosphere of the FA Cup in our forthcoming fixture.
After a dominant performance in the first round winning away to Newcastle-U-Lyme based Bradwell Belles 8-0, the next round has been drawn and sees FC Reedswood home in the 2nd Round against Crusaders on Sunday 14th October 2pm kick off.
If you would like to come down and join us for this game our ground offers an onsite club house selling refreshments and you can sit and watch the game in our 100 seat stand meaning a fun time whatever the weather, best of all its free admission. so if you or your children are interested in our plans for the junior section next year or you are over 18 and fancy trying out yourself then why not come down to watch the game and have a chat at the same time, you will be most welcome.
