Find your essential oil
If you want to give your skin a real treat then invest in a facial oil. Charlotte Littlejones finds the right one for your needs
A lot of people balk at the idea of putting oils on your face when we spend most of the time trying to minimise their presence. Cosmetic oils are big business though and once you try the facial variety you'll never look back.
Many of them soak right into your skin, but if you don't fancy wearing oils during the day you can make them part of your night routine, either in place of your night cream or underneath – that way you can leave to do its work overnight.
The nice thing about oils is you can give yourself a facial massage as you apply it before you leave it to do its work.
