“The council are doing NOTHING.
My street has been awash with dog dirt for the last 2 years. Last week one of these lazy owners chose the end of my drive to let his dog ****, unfortunately for this man and his small black and white shih tzu its right underneath my CCTV camera so I now know exactly who he is.
I downloaded the data from my CCTV hard drive and telephoned the dog warden. I've has no response whatsoever.
Useless.”

“Sorry to hear that, Ron. People who don't pick up after their dogs infuriate me.
Anyway, while I don't think it's exactly responsible for bags of dog mess to be left on top of the bins, the picture at least demonstrates that there are plenty of dog owners who *do* pick up after their dogs only to be let down by the council not keeping their side of the bargain. The council lecture people on the hygiene hazards of dog mess on the streets, but they can't be bothered to empty the specialized bins in a timely manner and that results in *them* becoming a health hazard.
It is actually very difficult to find somewhere to dump dog mess outside of parks in the Hartshill area because the council removed most of the litter bins several years ago... so naturally dog owners gravitate towards the park for that facility. But suddenly it is useless.”
“Three months ago, Stoke-on-Trent City Council proposed a crackdown on dog owners who allow their pets to foul play areas and public spaces, but who is going to crackdown on the council for not cleaning up after dog owners?
This bin in Richmond Street park reached full capacity two weeks ago and has been accumulating carrier bags full of dog mess ever since.

It is impossible to enter the park via one particular entrance without passing this health hazard that is awash with flies. A brand new children's play area is also nearby.”
