“The New Broom in Checkley -I booked the back room for my sons christening after eating there before and hearing all the positive things my family and family friends had been saying, I booked the room on the sunday and came on the Friday to give my deposit. On arrival the young girl behind the bar informed me that they had booked someone else in instead, no one called and left a message to inform me and they didn't care either, there response was "the manager did it not me" and there was my name scribbled out on the page, i was appalled, its definitely not the way i'd run a business! So if your after hiring the back room be careful.”
