“"Sink Estate Transformed thanks to a big team effort"
Sentinel property 9th February
I think we should thank the team individually - Neil Walker - for compulsary purchasing the homes on the estate for a pittance then leaving the homes empty for months to attract crime and vandalism to then justify buying up the whole estate for peanuts. For driving peolpe away from the area who have lived on Coalville all their lives so that the estate is "Socially Cleansed". To Ernie clarke who managed to ensure that the whole estate got bulldozed and people were made homeless apart from guess who ? .........You've guessed - Ernie Clarke. Thanks to the council and police for not sorting out the problems at the time when they were asked to and had the power to. All the crime and vandalism must have been caused by the absentee landlords....but hold on if they're absentee ???? To Riverside and Compendium - Thanks for purchasing prime building land on greenbelt for well below market value (with public money) and making a handsome profit on the overpriced shoe boxes that you are now building. Also thanks for NOT putting a shop on the estate which you promised from the start and was on the masterplan. You all must be looking forward to when your "Social Cleansing" project is complete so you can keep the sentinal photographer busy.”
