Who did what – and when
KEY appointments to Stoke-on-Trent City Council in recent years have included:
2008
Chris Harman became interim council manager following the departure of council manager Steve Robinson at the end of September.
Consultant Mike Maunder was brought in as a temporary interim assistant chief executive to fill Mr Harman's post until a permanent council manager or chief executive could be appointed.
2009
Chief executive John van de Laarschot was appointed on October 1.
Phil Crossland became director of transportation and planning last month.
Peter Price took over as head of transportation.
Jeanette McGarry took up the newly-created post of director of housing, environmental and neighbourhood services in June.
During the same month, Dawn Hewins became the council's head of human resources.
The head of neighbourhood services role also went to Denise Grant in June.
Val Bourne was appointed head of housing.
Brian Davies was recruited as the council's head of planning.
The key post of director of central services went to former acting director Paul Simpson.
