Pupils teach Christmas message as ET drops in
The pupil at St Anne's Primary School, in Brown Edge, was just one of many who took part in the production of Christmas with the Aliens.
The contemporary twist on the traditional nativity sees aliens crash to earth. Stranded on the planet with their broken spaceship, the extra-terrestrial visitors meet a group of schoolchildren rehearsing a Christmas play.
The aliens want to share the Christmas message with the universe. But first they need to fix their ship.
Written by Nikki Lewis, this popular version of the nativity story includes songs such as When The Angels Came and Let The Universe Know His Name.
Headteacher Val Hall said: "The play was just fabulous, it's a lovely story about aliens beginning to learn about the nativity story.
"The year two children acted out the play and the rest of the children dressed in costumes and sang as choir. The parents thought it was super and the hall was packed out."
