BAKERS can enter their culinary delights into a charity competition.

The Oddfellows Hall, in High Street, Stafford, will host a Multiple Sclerosis Society annual Christmas sale and cake baking competition tomorrow

It will run from 9am until 1pm, with judging of the cakes taking place at 11am.

Stafford's Mayor, councillor Jean Tabernor is on the judging panel along with Stafford and District Multiple Sclerosis Society chairman, Roger Hall, Luke Stanley of the Swan Hotel and Tina Soden, proprietor of La Patisserie family bakers.

Entrants can bring their cakes along to the event before 10.45am and register on the day. The competition is free to enter but competitors can donate their creation for sale at the event to raise funds for the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Cake decorating sessions will be held for children to practice their artistic skills and create their own Christmas cake.

First prize is a Christmas hamper. For more information call Peter Marenghi, from Multiple Sclerosis Society Stafford branch, on 07736 522474.
