Last chance to help Wedgwood Museum win £100k arts prize
TIME is running out to vote for the Wedgwood Museum to be awarded the UK's largest single arts prize – worth £100,000.
The museum, in Barlaston, is one of just four museums and galleries to be shortlisted for The Art Fund Prize 2009.

This award is given to the museum or gallery whose project demonstrates the most originality, imagination and excellence.
The last day for voting is today.
At one point, it appeared the museum was a front runner, but now it appears
the Centre of New Enlightenment at Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, Glasgow, is just ahead.
Former elected mayor and Sentinel columnist Mike Wolfe said: "I voted early on for the new Wedgwood museum and I know many people in the city did the same.
"It's a fabulous museum and it's disappointing to see it being pipped to the post by what appears to be a co-ordinated campaign.
"I hope everybody in the Potteries will vote today to put the Wedgwood Museum back at the top and give us something to smile about."

“I voted earlier today and then went back on line to check how the voting was going to find out that the poll has been closed early "due to irregularites in the voting process" . What is going on ? Wedgwood was 2% ahead”
