Let’s get the party started
Now the Olympic Torch is passing through, Local Leader Opening Night In parties are starting to be planned across the whole of the UK and in Staffordshire.
Helen Morris from Resolven is hosting her ‘Opening Night In’ party in her local church. She’ll be celebrating by decorating her church with flags from all over the world, hosting an international buffet and watching the London 2012 Opening Ceremony live on big screens.
Vicky Hope from Bridge End is so excited after seeing Olympic Torch fever spread across the country, so is planning getting all her old school friends together for an Olympic Opening Night In party at home. The fancy dress theme is ‘Gold medal athletes’.
