HANLEY: Peter Dring, aged 45, of no fixed address, was fined £75 after pleading guilty to being drunk and disorderly in Huntbach Street, Hanley, on February 1 and being in breach of a conditional discharge.
Deputy District Judge Simon Morgan also ordered the defendant to pay a £20 victim surcharge but that and the fine were deemed to have been paid because of the time he had already spent in custody.
BRADWELL: Richard Wrench, aged 40, of The Cardway, Bradwell, has pleaded guilty to failing to comply with the requirements of a community order made at North Staffordshire Magistrates Court on March 27.
Deputy District Judge Simon Morgan revoked the order and in its place the defendant was given a nine-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £15 victim surcharge.

HANLEY: James Moore, aged 22, formerly of Homer Street, Hanley, is accused of taking a motor vehicle without the consent of the owner, handling stolen goods, disqualified driving, using a motor vehicle without insurance and breaching his bail. Magistrates at North Staffordshire Justice Centre remanded him in custody until February 27.
BADDELEY GREEN: Geoffrey Pearson, aged 44, of Baddeley Hall Road, Baddeley Green, has pleaded guilty to assaulting his wife Emma Pearson by beating at Werrington on February 10.
Magistrates at North Staffordshire Justice Centre adjourned sentence for reports until March 28.
The defendant was granted conditional bail until the next hearing.
BUCKNALL: Father-of-three Nicholas Taylor, aged 29, of Vowchurch Way, Bucknall, has pleaded guilty to possession of a small quantity of cocaine at Hanley on February 11.
Magistrates at North Staffordshire Justice Centre fined him £100 with £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.
