HANLEY: A spring fair will be held to raise money for church funds.
St Luke's Church, in Wellington Terrace, Hanley, is staging the event on March 2.
There will be a tombola, bric-a-brac, cosmetics stall and a book sale.
Organiser June Tatton, aged 76, of Trentham, said: "We hold a fair every spring so we're holding this one will just be as successful. We normally get some nice bits of pottery in the bric-a-brac."

CREWE: Francis Williams, aged 30, of Market Close, Crewe, will be committed to Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court accused of possession of 15.4 grams of crack cocaine with intent to supply at Stoke on September 14.
Magistrates at North Staffordshire Justice Centre granted conditional bail until April 19.
BALL GREEN: Andrew Bould, aged 34, of Whitfield Road, Ball Green, is accused of shop theft at Norton in December. Magistrates at North Staffordshire Justice Centre adjourned the case until February 28.
STOKE: Dominic Burton and Jane Hazell, of Flax Street, Stoke, are accused of failing to ensure the regular attendance of a child at school between May and October 2012. The case was adjourned until March 27.
