In brief
KEELE: Public consultation events will be taking place next month into revised plans to build dozens of new homes in Keele village.
The proposals will see a mixture of housing built on the Hawthorn's site, which Keele University currently uses for student halls.
New student accommodation is being created on the main campus to free up the village location for the new development led by Seddon.
The original scheme included building a care home alongside the houses, but this was dropped following concerns raised by local residents.
