BURSLEM: A hearing to determine how much money offender Thomas Dean must repay has been adjourned until Monday. Dean, of Macclesfield Street, Burslem, was jailed for six years in October after pleading guilty to four charges of possession of a class B drug with intent to supply.
Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court heard the 32-year-old sold thousands of pounds worth of 'legal high' drugs which then became illegal.
Dean was due to attend a Proceeds of Crime hearing at the court yesterday but it was adjourned until Monday after the prison van did not arrive at court due to the adverse weather conditions.

But Ashley Davis, aged 25, of Newhouse Road, Bucknall, and William Davis, aged 49, of Beveridge Close, Meir, pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of inflicting grievous bodily harm on Mr Carter.
They will be sentenced at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on February 8. They were remanded in custody.
NEWCASTLE: Teenager Thomas Longshaw has denied robbing a woman of a mobile phone in Newcastle on October 18. The 18-year-old, of Wedgwood Street, Wolstanton, will have his trial at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court in the week commencing February 25. His bail was extended.
STOKE-ON-TRENT: Alan Saunders, aged 32, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to attempting to rob a woman of a handbag on January 10.
He will be sentenced at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court after a report is prepared on him by a probation officer. Saunders was remanded in custody.
HANLEY: Francis Gilbert, aged 46, of Ridgway Road, Hanley, denied 10 charges of rape and four charges of indecent assault. Gilbert's trial will be held at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on May 20.
His bail was extended.
