KIDSGROVE: A 23-year-old man has appeared at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court accused of a stabbing.
Stephen Viggars, of Second Avenue, Kidsgrove, is charged with wounding Ryan Bloor with intent at Kidsgrove in the early hours of Christmas Day, and being in possession of a knife on the same date.
His case was adjourned until March 22, when he will enter a plea. He was bailed to live at an address in St Michael's Road, in Pittshill.
TUNSTALL: A former Stoke-on-Trent man has appeared at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court charged with a burglary in Tunstall. Anthony Kershaw, aged 37, is accused of the offence on January 2.

The court heard he was due before magistrates charged with a burglary in Devon, where he now lives. The case was adjourned until February 8 to allow the matter to reach the crown court. Kershaw was remanded in custody.
SANDYFORD: The case of a 21-year-old man accused of burglary has been adjourned until March. Norman Frost, of Hollywall Lane, Sandyford, is charged with a burglary at Falls Farm, in Gillow Heath, on December 8. He was bailed to appear at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on March 22, when he will enter a plea.
SHELTON: A 23-year-old man has denied a charge of affray.
Vakas Ali, of Trafalgar Road, Hartshill, is accused of taking part in a disturbance in Shelton on May 1, alongside five other men.
His case was adjourned until February 1, when all the defendants will appear at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court.
Ali's bail was enlarged.
LONGSDON: A Proceeds of Crime Act hearing has been fixed for a 58-year-old Andrew Fox. Fox was jailed for eight months for growing cannabis at his home in School Lane, Longsdon. The hearing will take place on March 8.
