STOKE-ON-TRENT: Six men have been committed to Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court accused of affray at Shelton on May 1 this year.
They are Mohammed Adeeb, aged 23, of The Parkway, Hanley; Vakas Ali, aged 23, of Trafalgar Road, Hartshill; Khalil Khaliq, aged 31, of Sturgess Street, Stoke; Mohammed Jameel Khaliq, aged 34, of Sturgess Street, Stoke; Mohammed Nasir Khaliq, aged 27, of Sturgess Street, Stoke; and Mohammed Wasim, aged 21, of The Parkway, Hanley.
They each face a charge that on May 1 this year at Shelton they used or threatened unlawful violence towards other persons and their conduct would cause a person of reasonable firmness present at the scene to fear for their personal safety.
The defendants were bailed for a plea and case management hearing in November.

ABBEY HULTON: Police are appealing for the public to report sightings of a missing teenager.
Bethany Wallace, aged 14, went missing from a family member's address in Abbey Hulton at about 3.25pm on Saturday.
She is described as white, 5ft 1in tall with a slim build and shoulder-length, black, straight hair.
She has brown eyes and a fair complexion.
Bethany was last seen wearing black jeans, a white T-shirt with pink writing on it and white plimsolls.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Staffordshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 474 of October 6.
BLYTHE BRIDGE: A 28-year-old woman charged with two offences alleged to involve £33,964 under the Social Security Administration Act will have a trial at Newcastle court on December 12.
Stacey Smith, of Mayfield Drive, Blythe Bridge, has pleaded not guilty to two matters of dishonestly failing to notify a change of circumstances affecting her entitlement to social security benefit or other payment on dates between November 2006 and March 2011.
ASHLEY: A further adjournment for two weeks until October 24 was granted at North Staffordshire Magistrates Court in the cases of Anthony Oxford, aged 30, and Richard Pugh, aged 35, both of Eldertree Lane, Ashley.
They face an allegation of common assault on David Bliss on February 14 this year. Both men were given bail.
