BLYTHE BRIDGE: Heritage buffs are in for a treat at the next meeting of Blythe Bridge and Forsbrook Historical Society.
It takes place on Tuesday next week, starting at 7.30pm, and will include an historical walk around the village of Dilhorne, with Lev Wood and Roy Forshaw as guides.
There will also be a visit to Foxfield Colliery. People should meet at the recreation centre car park. Guests, who will be charged £2.50, are welcome to attend.

STONE: ABB has been helping to raise money for the Special Olympics Great Britain by staging a garden fete.
The event took place at the company's site in Stone earlier this week and included stalls, games, and special appearances by athletes. Organisers have yet to reveal the total amount raised on the day.
CHELL: People can pick up tips from flower arranging expert Gail Croxall at the next meeting of Tunstall Flower Club.
The event takes place on Tuesday next week at St Michael's Church Hall, in Chell, at 7.30pm.
Admission costs £4 and non-members are welcome to attend.
TUNSTALL: The Salvation Army, in Dunning Street, is holding a coffee morning on Saturday, July 7.
It will run from 10am until noon, with proceeds going towards The Salvation Army Belief in Action Annual Appeal.
LONGTON: The Stoke U3A is holding its monthly meeting today at Longton Central Hall. The session, which will also include a quiz, begins at 2pm.
Non-members are also invited to the meeting. The cost of admission is £1.
