TUNSTALL: Andrew Stanyer has been committed to Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court accused of possession of 18.6 grams of amphetamine with intent to supply and possession of 3.4 grams of Class B drug fluoromethcathinione at Tunstall on January 23 this year.
The 44-year-old, of St Aidan's Street, Tunstall, was granted bail until his preliminary hearing at crown court on May 25.
NEWCASTLE: Thomas Heames, aged 21, of Hempstalls Lane, Newastle, admitted breaching his bail conditions when he appeared at North Staffordshire Magistrates Court. He is charged with handling stolen goods, namely a motor cycle and is due to appear in court again on May 11. Heames was granted unconditional bail.
LONGTON: Prolific offender Christopher Meneghin, aged 51, of no fixed address, was jailed for eight weeks by North Staffordshire magistrates after he pleaded guilty to stealing toiletries worth £11 from Wilkinsons, Longton, on April 28 this year.
