BENTILEE: Teenager Ben Leadbetter was committed to Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court after pleading guilty to a burglary at a petrol station in Bentilee in which cigarettes and tobacco worth £1,151 were taken between March 10 and March 13 . The 18-year-old, of Galloway Road, Bentilee, also admitted stealing a mobile phone and common assault on a 17-year-old on April 21. He was remanded in custody.

LONGTON: Paul Corne, aged 44, of Locketts Lane, Longton, who is charged with an aggravated burglary, has appeared at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court for a preliminary hearing.

He is accused of entering a house in Upper Belgrave Road, Longton, with intent to steal on April 23 and having a knife with him. Corne, who will enter his plea on July 9, was remanded in custody.

TUNSTALL: Lee Davison, aged 31, of Hose Street, Tunstall, denied possessing cannabis with intent to supply on November 16. His trial will be held at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on a date to be fixed. Davison was granted bail.

TUNSTALL: Roy Brammeld, aged 39, of St Aidans Street, Tunstall, pleaded guilty to possession of heroin with intent to supply on November 4. He will be sentenced at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on Thursday.

BROWN LEES: Craig Wykes, aged 26, of Tower Hill Road, Brown Lees, who is charged with intending to pervert the course of justice, will enter his plea at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on July 9.

He was granted bail.
