BURSLEM: The Alzheimer's Society Burslem Support Group will hold a meeting on Thursday from 7.30pm.

The open session, which will run until 9pm, will be held in the Bursley Room, Burslem Day Centre in Baddeley Street.

CITY: The Queen's Diamond Jubilee will be celebrated in style with a big band dance night featuring a 20-piece musical group.

Trent River Big Band will be performing at the King's Hall, Stoke, on June 2. Tickets cost £15 each and are available by ringing 01782 533580.

LONGTON: The Stoke U3A has launched a flower arranging class.

And the group is also hoping to launch snooker sessions in the future.
