FULFORD: Fund-raiser Reg Ainsworth will hold the third annual charity concert in memory of his wife.
The night of musical entertainment, belly dancing and a buffet will raise money for the Douglas Macmillan Hospice, where Reg's wife, Eunice, of Trentham, passed away three years ago.
It takes place at Fulford Village Hall on September 6, from 7pm. Tickets are £12 and places can be booked on 01782 643252.
CLAYTON: Residents have the opportunity to meet their neighbourhood policing officer tomorrow.
A police surgery with PCSO Mike Shenton will be held at Clayton Library, in Dartmouth Avenue, between 4pm and 6pm.
Anyone is welcome to attend and raise any concerns.
CITY: Kris Watts, aged 27, of Berdmore Street, Fenton, has pleaded not guilty to a charge of possessing 4.46 grams of heroin with intent to supply.
The case was adjourned for a trial to be held in the week commencing September 22.
