Step out for spring walks
Age Concern's Ageing Well Project launches its spring programme tomorrow.
There will be three or four walks each month, weather permitting, which will be led by trained volunteers.
Visitors simply have to turn up at the starting point at either 10.45am on a Tuesday, for a three-mile walk, or 9.45am on a Friday for a walk of between four and six miles.
The first walk sets off from Biddulph Grange Country Park visitor centre tomorrow.
The second, a five-mile walk, starts at the Holly Bush Inn car park, Denford, near Longsdon, on Friday.
Appropriate footwear should be worn and dogs must be kept under close control. There will be a 10-minute break during all walks.
