QUESTION: I have to ask the question how many of those people protesting at the construction of the mast in Cheadle (March 13) have mobile phones? I will hazard a guess that 99 per cent of them do. Mr Snape who says that his daughter will not visit him if the mast is built, does she own a mobile phone? I bet she does. Will her children own mobile phones when they are old enough; yes they will. Mr Smith who runs the sandwich van; does he and his wife own mobile phones? Yes they do and I bet it helps his business. It is ok for those people to use mobile phones so long as the technology doesn't encroach on their lives. If you own mobiles then you are part of the problem. Masts will continue to spring up as usage increases.
