Gordon Banks tribute day at Britannia Stadium was a great success

GREAT DAY: My wife and I had a great day out at the Britannia on Saturday, saluting the true Stoke City and England legend Gordon Banks. It was great to see local people as well as celebrities turn out to see the well deserved unveiling of the Banksy statue. I could not help, however, noticing another Stoke City legend availing himself to the crowd along the length of the lower west stand signing autographs for as many who wanted them. What an absolute gent Mike Pejic is. An act more noticeable because he was the only celebrity guest to do so. At the age of 58 playing in the match and giving of himself unselfishly to the crowd, Mike also has a special place in the hearts of Stoke City fans. All together now: One Mike Pejic, there's only one...
