“ Blackbrook Zoological Park is a fantastic place to visit, I went on a 'Zoo Keepers Experience' morning lead by the head Keeper Tony, who is so knowledgeable and passionate about animals, wildlife and conservation. We really got a great 'behind the scenes' experience, got to hand feed Lemurs which was amazing, the collection of birds is fantastic, the three Meerkats are so cute, and I enjoyed feeding the Penguins, and seeing the Pelicans and Flamingos. We also had sandwiches and tea included. The shop is good, but I think it could be better stocked with informative wildlife books. I had a lovely day and didn't want to leave. They are struggling financially, and depend a lot on donations to keep the park running. I would definitely recommend it's well worth a visit, and it's only a few miles away from Alton Towers. ”

“Found a voucher online so Kids could go free, glad we did as it would of been an expensive few hours out otherwise!! Certainly not enough there to fill a full day, but what is there is fine, highlight of the day for my son... the Meerkats!!!! Would go again but only if we found another voucher!”

“We had a great time at the weekend! Glad we found the voucher on line as the kids loved it. Besides the wind it was great to be in the fresh air. The variety of animals was great to see in Staffordshire Moorlands, and the unique White (Albino) peacock was Beautiful. Will return (when not so windy) and can enjoy the pleasures and views once again.”

“We took our 3 year old daughter for a day out at Blackbrook zoo on Monday (24 Jan) and even though there was a cold wind it is still a fantastic day out - there is so much to see and do and Helen just loves the penguins :-).
A break for lunch in the Cafe, fab toasties and chips for us and kids lunch box for Helen and off we went again. When it was time to leave our little daughter was asleep before we left the car park!”

“We took the kids last year and they loved it.
The highlights were the meerkat, penguins and the maddest big bird who was really keen on eating my trainers.
