More arrests in police city drugs raids
SEVEN more people have been arrested as police continue to carry out drugs raids across the city.
Officers raided two houses yesterday and seized hundreds of cannabis plants from a third address.

DRUGS SWOOP: The property raided in Jackfield Street, Burslem.
Police searching an address in Jackfield Street, Burslem, discovered a significant quantity of suspected Class A drugs.
Five men, aged 31, 32, 33, 39 and 40, and a 22-year-old woman, were arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply.
A small amount of amphetamine was recovered when police searched a semi-detached home in Kingsley Street in Meir. A woman in her thirties was arrested on suspicion of possession of Class B drugs.
And officers said "several hundred" cannabis plants had been seized during a raid in Huntbach Street, Hanley.
Evidence recovered from this building will now be examined by detectives.
Since June 1, 21 people have been arrested across the city and the Moorlands in connection with drugs offences, as officers carry out a crackdown under Operation Nemesis.
Chief Superintendent Bernie O'Reilly, from Stoke-on-Trent, said: "Drug dealers are not welcome in our communities."
