Take action to catch dog owner
FOUL: I am writing to complain about the amount of dog fouling on the streets of Stoke-on-Trent.
My son goes to Oakhill Primary School and we have to walk to school everyday.
And everyday we, along with many other parents, have to battle walking the pavements and down Rookery Lane to the school avoiding constant dog mess.
This is not easy when there is a lot of human traffic/pushchairs and children running to school and we have to dodge the dog mess.
We are pretty sure the same dog is doing the deed as it is in the same places everyday and getting worse.
I assume a parent of a child who goes to Oakhill has tried to stop the situation by making their own signs to stop the foul person letting their dog do this, but to no avail.
I have contacted Stoke-on-Trent City Council and still the council has done nothing.
It will only take someone to wait for the person who walks their dog everyday to catch them and fine them on the spot. I think the council could do that for us.
I have noticed though that a lot of the streets of Stoke are covered in dog mess and it is disgusting.
I think cleaning the streets of Stoke-on-Trent is a bit more important than some of the things the council likes to waste its money on.

“Obviously the dog owner committing this offence can not read signs either!”

“Is it the dogs that are nuisances, or their owners?
Dogs can't read signs.”

“Not the same paul! Do we still have dog wardens? Why can't the council have some-one on patrol to control these brain-dead dog owners? Dogs are just nusiances like all other domestic pets.”

“Have you not noticed that fining dog foulers is not profitable for our fiscally motivated powers that be. (I love that phrase) It.'s not politically vote winning so nody cares”
