COOKING UP A STORM: Chefs have battled it out in a competition to find the best in Staffordshire.

Taste of Staffordshire's Master Chef and Young Chef of Tomorrow 2012 was held at Stafford College yesterday.

The annual competition concluded with a challenging cook-off, where the finalists will demonstrate their culinary skills.

Launched each January, young chefs aged between 16 and 21 and experienced chefs aged over 21 are invited to submit a detailed three-course recipe using seasonal, local ingredients, before six finalists for each category are selected.
