Worker could claim honour
AN OPTICAL assistant has been nominated for a national award.
Catherine Stokes, who works at Webb & Lucas Optometrists, is one of only three candidates to reach the final stages of the optical assistant of the year category at the Association of Optometrists awards.
The awards, which will be handed out next month, aim to recognise employees who go the extra mile for customers.
Catherine, of Stafford, said she was "absolutely delighted" to be nominated, adding: "It is fantastic to be recognised on a national scale."
