West Ham fan claims being banned from Stoke City's Britannia Stadium because of a newspaper
SECURITY guards at Stoke City barred a West Ham United fan from the Britannia Stadium because he was carrying a newspaper- The Mirror has claimed.
Hammers supporter and ex-fireman Chris Barmby was allegedly told to bin it as he might set it on fire and start a riot, the paper claims.

West Ham fan Chris Barmby says he was banned from the Britannia Stadium because he was carrying a newspaper.
Speaking to the Mirror, ex-fireman Chris, 57, of Claines, Worcestershire, said: “It was ridiculous. They were letting in fans with programmes.
“What is stopping someone setting light to a club programme? The worst thing was I hadn’t even read it.
