MOTORISTS have been warned to be careful after a spate of criminal damage.

Staffordshire Police officers are investigating after between 15 and 20 vehicles had their tyres slashed while parked in Sandford Hill and Meir last week.

Police are now looking into the incidents, which are not thought to be linked.

Officers have increased high visibility patrols and carried out a leaflet drop to appeal for information.

Drivers are urged to check their tyres before setting off on a journey in case of damage.

Anyone with information should call police at Longton on 0300 123 44 55.
