Ward experience was distressing
CARE: In response to Tim Midgley commending the high standards on ward 108 of the University Hospital of North Staffordshire (The Sentinel, March 11), it would be interesting to know when he received this standard of care.
The description of his experience on ward 108 is unrecognisable from the treatment my mum received on ward 108 in October 2009.
The ward was understaffed, medication was not on time and ward 108 could not cater for all clinical conditions as Mr Midgeley states.
I had to complain often to the staff nurses, the sister, the matron, the consultant and I am left disgusted and distressed by ward 108.
