Disabled access: Disabled access indoors at the Discovery Centre and Waterside including toilets, restaurants and shops. Outdoors the train and a good proportion of the trails are wheelchair-friendly. There is also designated parking and mobility buggies are available with a driver. These need to be pre-booked by calling 01283 213731.

Refreshments: CONKERS offers a range of places to eat from the Water's Edge through to the Olive Tree restaurant and coffee lounge. There is also the Trading Post retail area and the National Forest Art Gallery.
