Virtual tour in land of pirates
FAMILIES are invited to take a virtual tour of a theme park's latest attractions.
To coincide with the launch of its pirate-theme land, Alton Towers has launched an online Mutiny Bay experience.
It provides families with an interactive overview of the new land and attractions.
Visitors to the site can also play a Battle Galleons game with the chance to win family tickets to the resort.
A theme park spokesman said: "By hovering your cursor over the map, and clicking on the various attractions, a world of information is revealed."
Mutiny Bay land contains a range of entertainment, including Battle Galleons, Marauder's Mayhem and Heave Ho for younger visitors.

“Whats this, a pirates ride. I have two things to say on this.Firstly, it better have a marked diffrance to anything Disney have in there team parks, or they will be all over the towers like a rash.
Secondly, I was under the impression that robbrey on the high-seas already took place there, at the enterance gates... lol”
