PATIENTS are being asked to fill in a survey about their experiences at Stafford Hospital.

The county's Local Involvement Network (LINks) is conducting research on behalf of the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

The commission ran an investigation into Mid Staffordshire NHS Foundation Trust after failures led to between 400 and 1,200 more deaths than expected between 2005 and 2008.

And LINks wants to hear about the quality of care at inpatient, outpatient and accident and emergency departments between January 1 and March 31 this year.

People will be asked about the services they received at the hospital and what they thought about the treatment.

LINks, which aims to inform and improve health services across the county, is also interested in when people visited and if their involvement with the hospital was ongoing or a one-off.

The CQC will use the feedback to decide on what issues it will follow up.

To take part, call 01785 887990, email enquiries@staffordshirelink.staffs.com or write to Staffordshire LINk, Staffordshire Business Village, Unit 30 Dyson Way, Staffordshire Technology Park, Stafford, ST18 0TW.
