FALKLANDS veteran Simon Weston will be the guest of honour at a charity boxing match.

An 'Army versus the Midlands' match will take place in Cross Heath in May.

And Mr Weston will be guest speaker during the event at the TA Centre, in Liverpool Road, which will also feature an auction of sporting memorabilia.

All proceeds from the night will go to charity Help for Heroes and the Army Benevolent Fund.

Tickets for the May 28 event, which starts at 7pm and includes the boxing and a four-course meal with wine, are £40 each.
