Vegan approach
WHILE any right-minded person would condemn hunting, I feel eating meat, dairy and eggs is also highly unethical.
The animals used to make the latter two items live longer than "meat" animals and are arguably treated worse. And they all eventually end up at the same slaughterhouse anyway.
The dairy cow, for example, is continually forcibly impregnated to produce milk. She becomes traumatised and bellows in agony every time we remove her calf.

“It may not be very pleasant to think about eating other animals, but if we didn't have the high energy levels of meat products and relied solely on vegetation then much of the world's population would starve.”
