MOBILE phone giant Vodafone has landed a deal with automotive group Volkswagen.

Vodafone, which employs more than 900 people in North Staffordshire, has been chosen to provide mobile communications services for more than 90,000 Volkswagen Group employees in Germany and other countries in an exclusive four-year agreement.

Volkswagen Group owns South Cheshire luxury car-maker Bentley, which employs nearly 4,000 people in Crewe.

Vodafone's call centre at Festival Park employs more than 900 people.
