VIDEO: Mobo award-winning YolanDa Brown visits Moorside High School
Double Mobo award-winning saxophonist YolanDa Brown, right, took a trip to the Staffordshire Moorlands to spread her love of music to schoolchildren.
YolanDa – whose debut album 'April Showers, May Flowers' topped the iTunes and Amazon jazz charts earlier this year – visited Moorside High School, in Werrington, in her role as ambassador for 'Class Band', a new method of teaching wind instruments.

While at the school, the musician gave pupils a special performance, accompanied by her acclaimed jazz trio.
The Staffordshire Performing Arts Service was one of two leading music services to successfully pilot Class Band last year.
