RUNNERS are being urged to get in training for a race to raise cash for a children's charity.
The Donna Louise Children's Hospice will host its ninth annual 10k and 5k family fun run at Trentham Gardens on Sunday, May 12.

And this year's event already has the backing of Hollyoaks star Rachel Shenton, above, who has signed up to take part.
The actress, from Blythe Bridge, is now urging other runners to book their places.

She said: "It is a great way to spend a Sunday out with the whole family and it is for an amazing cause.
"The course is suitable for experienced runners and non-runners, who just want to have a go and have some fun.
"People might be put off by running and think it is too hard, but they should have a go and just try the smaller 5K run."
The 10K race is registered by UK Athletics and will issue official times through electronic time tags.
The 5K family run is open to all ages and abilities with prizes for the best fancy dress.
Entry is £14 for adults for the 10K race and £12 for the 5K. Children under the age of 16 can take part in the 5K for £7. All runners will receive a medal and a goodie bag at the finish.
