VIDEO: Blurton pupils celebrate Chinese New Year
PUPILS were given a taste of the Orient to celebrate Chinese New Year.
Youngsters at Blurton Primary School took part in Chinese arts and crafts lessons, food tastings and dance classes yesterday to mark the start of the year of the snake.

Chinese dancer Louise Butler is seen with Owen Jones and Ellie Hodgkinson, both aged five.
Class three teacher Lindsay Armstrong said: "It's a great chance for the children to learn about a different culture."
