VICTORIA ON THE SQUARE IN HANLEY

I stayed at this hotel this week and I've never seen such a disgraceful attitude towards customers and staff as shown by the lady owner. Out of seven days my room was cleaned once, she explained because I was given a discount, I shouldn't expect anything else and I also saw her abuse othe customers as well as staff. They advertise an internet facility that doesn't exist, on a Friday they have a grab a granny night and the music is that loud, it's impossible to sleep untill after 1.30am. The rooms are tiny and very very old fashioned, they don't have a reception and can't be reached most of the time, they had to have my key to finally clean the room and returning at 11.15pm they had locked everything up and had to stay somewhere else. I've travelled al over the world and stayed in some very dodgy hotels but none as bad as this place. Do your self a massive favour and book somewhere else, don't be fooled by the prices, I'm not a one for making complaints but places like this should be closed down.
