University answers questions
COMMUNITY leaders have cautiously welcomed Keele University's proposals.
Wenslie Naylon, who lives in Highway Lane, Keele, and who represents the area on Newcastle Borough Council, said: "I'm all in favour of helping to reduce dependence on foreign sources of energy. But we have to be aware of the problems of the impact on the environment."
Keele University is holding two events on Wednesday, at 3.30pm and 5.30pm in the medical school lecture theatre. There will be brief presentations from university staff, Advantage West Midlands, and the Government Office of the West Midlands, along with question and answer sessions.
