Web based seminar on swine flu
MANAGERS are being urged to watch a web-based seminar to help minimise the impact of swine flu on their businesses.
The British Chambers of Commerce is hosting the interactive session tomorrow at 11am.
Companies will be able to log on to hear the latest advice and ask questions.
It will be presented by British Chambers' director general David Frost, Dr Laurence Buckman, chairman of the General Practitioners' Committee at the British Medical Association, and Robert Stead from Polycom – a firm with 2,500 employees worldwide.
Bryan Carnes, chief executive at the North Staffordshire Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said: "We're saying not to be alarmed – or alarmist. I would advise all our members to tune in."
