Turnover and birthday joy for recruiter
RECRUITMENT firm LA International is celebrating its 30th anniversary.
The Festival Park-based company is on track to turn over more than £150 million in its current financial year to June – double the turnover it achieved in its last milestone anniversary year five years ago.
Financial director Paul Martin said: "Despite the uncertain and challenging economic conditions that remain in the UK and the EU, we have continued to increase turnover and profitability year on year.
"We are on track to exceed our turnover target of £150 million in the current financial year and we remain on target to achieve a turnover of £250 million in the next three years."

LA International employs 100 people at its £2 million headquarters.
Sentinel Business reported in January that it was looking to take on 20 new recruits on the back of an increase in sales.
The company supplies security-cleared IT and engineering staff to companies across the world.
At any one time it has more than 2,000 IT contractors engaged across the globe.
It has previously won contracts from a number of Government departments, including the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, the Ministry of Defence and the Department of Health. Other clients include Hewlett Packard and WS Atkins.
