THIS week, Jamie Cullum joins American jazz pianist and producer Robert Glasper who performs a track from his album In My Element and his version of Teen Spirit, in session at the BBC Maida Vale Studios.

Robert Glasper has worked with the likes of Christian McBride, Terence Blanchard and Roy Hargrove as well as many hip hop artists including Mos Def, Q-Tip, Kanye West and Jay-Z.

Later meanwhile, over on Radio Two, Nigel Ogden looks back at some highlights of the 2011 organ year which included a virtual organ, Rick Wakeman on the Wurlitzer and Harry Stoneham at the Hammond.

He also revisits the most popular organ CD of 2011 by American Charlie Balogh.

It combines pipes, keyboards and percussion in a totally new and unique way.
