Traditional fun at hall garden party
GARDEN PARTY: Hundreds of visitors enjoyed a traditional English day out at Ford Green Hall's annual garden party.
The free event took place in the period garden of the 17th century hall, on Ford Green Road, Smallthorne, yesterday.
Attractions included live music from the Staffordshire Accordion Band, craft activities and refreshments including cakes and strawberries and cream.
Visitors were also surprised by giant talking topiary bushes.
Museum manager Malgosia Phillips said: "It was a fantastic afternoon. We had around 400 visitors and it went really well. It was a lovely old-fashioned English Sunday afternoon."
