THE eyesight of a tot diagnosed with a rare syndrome is improving after Sentinel readers helped to buy toys for her.

Draycott-in-the-Moors youngster Sienna Williams has Charge, which leaves her with growth and developmental problems, including being partially-sighted.

Her parents Hayley and Adam Williams appealed for help to buy toys to aid her development in February.

And after receiving money for toys such as a fibre optic light and a bubble tunnel, the 20-month-old has shown signs of improvements.

Mrs Williams, aged 33, of Manor Close, said: "Her eyesight is doing really well, we've been told it is getting a lot stronger. She is coming on so well."
